General Election Results - 23 September 1954

General elections were held in Saint Lucia on 23 September 1954 for the eight-seat Legislative Council. eight. A total of 21 candidates contested the election. 

Two parties, the St. Lucia Labour Party (SLP) and the People's Progressive Party (PPP) presented eight candidates each, and there were five independents. 

The result was a victory for the Saint Lucia Labour Party, which won five of the eight seats. Voter turnout was 49.4%.
