The Cabinet of the Governor is the official secretariat of the Governor.

The Cabinet has as assignment to support the Governor in the execution of his administrative assignments, both as Kingdom organ and State organ.

The Cabinet acts as a link between the Head of State and the Ministers.

This task reflects among other things in the signing of official state documents, such as national resolutions and ordinances.

The Cabinet also prepares receptions and visits of the Governor, as regards content.

Additionally the Cabinet carries out a certain amount of tasks on behalf of the Governor, especially in consular matters, such as the issuing of passports and visas, and also the processing of applications for naturalization and option.

At the top of the Cabinet of the Governor is a director.
