Muhammad Shabazz
Former Senator, Trinidad and Tobago

Muhammad Shabazz was a Trinidad and Tobago politician and former senator.

Early life and education

Muhammed Shabazz was born on 21 June 1949.  Despite failing the then Common Entrance Examination, he found a way to go to the school of his choice, St Mary's College.

Career

Shabazz was the founding member of the Black Caucus Movement.  He served as a Senator for the People's National Movement.

Personal life

Shabazz was married to Lynette Shabazz the father of four. 

Death

Shabazz died on 22 May 2015 after a massive stroke.  He was 65 years old.
