Osbert Frederick is an Antiguan senator.
Early life and education
Osbert Frederick received his secondary education at the Antigua Seventh Day Adventist School. He later attended the University of the Virgin Islands (1988) and the gained a MSc in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
Career
Frederick unsuccesssfully contested the All Saints East & St. Luke East seat for the Antigua Labour Party in the 2009 general election, losing to Chester Hughes of the United Progressive Party.
Frederick was appointed to the Senate following the return of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party to office following the 2014 general election. He was elected as Vice President of the Senate at its first sitting. He was re-appointed to the Senate in 2018.
