Evans McNeil Rogers is the incumbent Representative for District 3, Valley North, since 2005. He is also the Anguilla United Front (AUF) Deputy Political Leader and Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition 2010 – 2015. He is a former Minister in the AUF Administration with the Anguilla Community College and the St. James School of Medicine are icons of his work.
Rogers appreciation for education and healthcare stem from his background as a teacher and a medical technologist. He is a graduate of the College of Arts, Science and Technology/University of Technology, Jamaica and Tuskegee University, Alabama, USA.
Rogers is passionate about revitalizing the Anguillian Economy. He wants to create a new Health Care system for Anguilla with improvements in the affordability, quality and access to healthcare. Rogers sees opportunities for improvement in Anguilla’s Social Services. He is committed to developing constructive youth empowerment programs that address criminal activity in our community through the creation of jobs and other opportunities for young people.
Rogers lives in Stoney Ground. He enjoys swimming, reading and interacting with people from all walks of life. |
